Big Balls of Yarn & Women Rockin' that World

So, time for a little break from the VM sweater, and time for a new experiment.
I can't say what it is just yet, because it's a gift for a friend of mine... so no spoiling of the surprise!  ;)

I can however tell you that I'm knitting with the strangest yarn I've ever used.  I mean, look at this thing?  It's huge! Ha ha! :)

I'm knitting a test for myself first to make sure I'm happy with it before I get started on the actual gift, so no Kathrine sweetie, this is not the color I picked for you!  :) 

I'll be posting pictures as I get underway with the actual gift! A couple of little sneak-peeks! ;)
