KARL LAGERFELD has launched an accessories line inspired by his famously pampered cat, Choupette. The collection will be available to buy from Lagerfeld stores from November 13.

The range - which is solely created in the designer's signature monochrome - features a knitted cap with cat's ears and leather whiskers, a leather cat-shaped tote bag, fingerless gloves, a key chain, a wool scarf, a cross-body bag and iPad and iPhone covers. Prices start at €45 for a knitted cap to €340 for a leather bag, WWD reports.

"Despite being one of the most recognisable faces in the world, Karl Lagerfeld believes that his beloved cat, Choupette, is now more famous than him. The German-born designer is renowned for his attachment to the pampered pet, who often travels around with him on his private jet.

"You know, personally, I don't even think I'm that famous," said Lagerfeld. "Now, Choupette really is famous. She has become the most famous cat in the world. I even get propositioned by pet food companies and things like that, but it's out of the question. I'm commercial. She's not. She's spoiled to death. Obviously."

The Chanel creative director goes to great lengths to ensure that Choupette - which means  "sweetie" in French - is sufficiently attended to at all times while he's working: she has three maids, and pays a visit to the vet for a check-up every 10 days.  "I don't take her," he told The Independent. "I don't want her to be furious with me."

Lagerfeld is thought to paying the ultimate tribute to his cat, by naming a new Chanel bag after her - a rumour which has yet to be confirmed by the fashion house. A Twitter account set up in Choupette's name currently has over 10,000 followers on Twitter."

IT'S MONDAY AND IT'S CUTE

Åh, en liten dose cuteness gjør godt på en mandag kjenner jeg.  :)

Her er familie på besøk i noen dager, så det blir mye mindre tid på bloggen (og paris fashion week) og altfor mye god mat å spise! Hjemmelaget blåbærsyltetøy og ripsgele, da er jeg solgt... og så fårefrikase til middag da.  I dag hører jeg rykter om vafler...  Noe sier meg at jeg må ta litt ekstra i på trening denne uken her ja.  :)

Here family is visiting for a few days, so there will be a lot less time for blogging (and paris fashionweek) and waaaay to much good food to eat!  Mom's home made jam... ooooh lord.  And then mom's home made stew for dinner...  Today I'm hearing rumours about waffles... something tells me I need to give a tiny bit extra in the gym this week! ;)

MONDAY BLUES WITH A DASH OF CUTE

Herlighet for ett vær det er på denne kanten av landet - det øs-pøser av dimensjoner.  Skulle tro høsten sjekket kalenderen og skjønte at den var litt sen i år, så nå ovenkompenserer den for å prøve å ta igjen tapt tid... I det jeg tittet frem mellom gardinene i morges bøyde trærne seg i vinden og regnet pisket mot soveromsvinduet.  Urk.  Dette er dager man ikke har lyst til å stikke nesen utenom døren, men man har liksom ikke noe valg.   Frem med gummistøvlene og regnjakken!  Er man ifra Bergen så er man da vanntett vel?  ;)  Man kan ihvertfall late som.

Nei, når det er grått og trist ute, så må man ha noe litt ekstra koselig, så er er en liten dash of cuteness for å gjøre mandagen din litt lysere!


//Wow... we're having the most horrific fall weather over here in Norway at the moment - it's dark, windy and raining like crazy.  It's like fall realized that it was a bit late this year and now it needs to make up for it... As I peeked out through the curtains this morning, the trees were bending under the wind, and the rain was slashing against the bedroom window... great.  Days like these you really don't feel like putting half a foot outside the door, but it's not like we have any choice.  Oh well, out with the rubber boots and raincoat!  I'm from Bergen after all, so a bit of rain is nothing, right? ;)  I can at least pretend.

With dark and rainy days like these, we need a little something extra, so here you have a dose of cuteness to make your Monday a bit brighter!//

CLOUD - THE FELINE MODEL

Check out the posing on this guy!  Attention, yes please!  He's just adorable. :)

He's hilarious though, as he loves the attention, yes... but... it's not that simple apparently.  He really despises the camera...  Why?  Who knows.  I've put it down to kitty logic.

When taking pictures, he starts by looking at you and is all in to it (a.k.a attention please) for about 30 seconds tops, then the tail starts swishing around, and before you know it he's running away.
Loving the attention, but for some reason he really doesn't like the camera.  
Maybe it said something to him. Complex messages we would just not comprehend.  Oh well, It's tough being a cat I'm sure.

Cute Cthulhu Birthday Card!

A buddy of mine had a birthday here the other day, and I thought I'd do something fun!  Time to make silly birthday card yessir! :)


Alight, so a quick little explanation of the back story here.  The birthday boy loves Cthulhu, so I just had to create something with that guy.
"Cthulhu^[1] is a fictional cosmic entity who first appeared in the short story "The Call of Cthulhu", published in the pulp magazine Weird Tales in 1928. The character was created by writer H. P. Lovecraft."

Cthulhu is basically a huge evil monster... So since Cthulhu is big and scary, my version has to be small and cute!  What is cuter then an Manga inspired little monster with a party hat on? Not much!  I did some googling, came across an Idea I liked, and took it to the next level.

Below you see how I ended up remaking it the way I wanted, added a bit here and there of what I felt like, "evil" speech bubble and some more text, and of course psycho cute and pink Cthulhu on the right.  :)

Mornings, Kittens & Hedgehogs

Top of the mornin' to ya! ;)

Here the day started early.  A good thing about that is that I got to take a few shots of the sunrise this morning!

Morning work-out today was a quick leg session.

Work-out:
Warmup Treadmill, 10 minutes, inlcine 12, speed 6
Leg extensions
Squats, Barbell
Lunges, Kettlebells


I stumbled across the cutest video yesterday, and what better start of the day then to see these two little guys stumbling around? 
A kitten that gets exhausted by investigating a little hedgehog.  On top of it this song just makes me start humming...  Any Toy Story fans out there?  Well, you'll know what I mean.
...and yes, there's a big fan sitting right here.  :)
